The word 'addiction' is tossed around too much these days. I don't believe there is sex addiction. But, unfortunately people have this need for labels. When younger, I was often referred to as a (male) slut. And the gals who behaved like me were also referred to as 'slut.' However there was in most instances a terrible double standard in the labelling. I was often the hero for my label. Never agreed with that and still don't. Now, fourty years later, I am blessed with some of my gal friends who bore that scarlet letter years past, still being in contact and dong very well in their lives. Don't ever stop writing!!
